Welcome to the Boynton Beach/Delray Beach Support Group!

Our support group of Christian homeschooling parents and children meets monthly for “Park Day” at West Boynton Park in Lake Worth to enjoy a time of fellowship & fun. It’s a great time for us to encourage one another, share information, hear from guest speakers, coordinate upcoming events, and much, much more!

If you are new to homeschooling and our group is conveniently located for you, we’d love to have you come visit us during our next Park Day. Park Day Details

Where: West Boynton Park (Jog Rd. and Northtree)
When: 3rd Friday of the month, 9:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (with rare exceptions, see Group Calendar below for exact dates)

	Future Dates (check email for exact date and cost): End of August – Reception with Senator Jeff Atwater in Jupiter Early September – trip to Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge Early October – fall festival Boynton Beach/Delray Group Calendar
	(Unless otherwise noted, all field trips require preregistration and prepayment. Be sure to come to the Park Days to sign up for events. Must be a PEC member to participate in field trips and Mom’s Nights Out.)
	Friday, September 19 – Park Day – 9:45 a.m. Join us as we talk about our group library and highlight books available for check-out. Also, make sure to sign up for the Wannado City and Lion Country Safari field trips.
	Friday, September 26 – Field Trip – Wannado City – 9:30 a.m. Cost is $16 per child, parents and children under 2 are free. Includes lunch. Must sign-up and pre-pay at September meeting. The Sunrise exit off the Sawgrass is $0.75 for Sunpass and $1 for cash. No change is provided. You will need quarters. The parking lot is the Purple Parrot. There is a light on Sunrise at the Purple Parrot entrance. Meet in the parking lot at 9:15 a.m. See Lynn or email Michelle for more details.
	Friday, October 17 – Park Day – 9:45 a.m. We will be hearing a speaker in honor of fire safety month. Please be on time. Don’t forget to sign up for our Thanksgiving Day feast and future field trips.
	Thursday, October 23 – Field Trip – Lion Country Safari The cost is $7.50 per person, children under 2 are free. Prepay and sign up at October park day, then meet at 9:30 a.m. in the toll booth lane at Lion Country. See Tomara or email Michelle for more details.
